  • North Vancouver's new Mountain Equipment Co-op Store celebrates its grand opening this Saturday, June 23rd. Proscenium had a sneak preview on Tuesday evening at the unveiling of the new public art piece in Lynnmouth Park.

  • Tonight, the AIBC's Architecture Centre Gallery opens a new exhibition, Elevation: Reaching Higher Ground, featuring Proscenium's MEC Head Office project. The exhibition celebrates projects that raise the standards of excellence in architecture. The exhibition will open this evening with a reception from 5:30 - 7:30. The public is welcomed to attend and may RSVP in advance through the AIBC.

  • Proscenium's work on the Main Stage Venue for Bard on the Beach has been recognized with the Award of Excellence in Tent Manufacturing and Design through the International Achievement Awards.

  • Aercoustics Engineering, a firm that worked closely with Proscenium on the renovation of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, has just received the Canadian Consulting Engineer 2011 Award of Excellence for their acoustic rehabilitation work on the QET. Congratulations, Aercoustics!

  • Proscenium presented ‘The City’s Cultural Spaces’ through the Vancouver Heritage Foundation’s Brown Bag Lunch & Learn Series at BCIT. The stories behind the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Stanley Theatre and the Cultch illustrate the balancing act necessary to save Vancouver’s historic theatres.
