Design Philosophy
Proscenium Architecture + Interiors Inc. strives to make real buildings that people can work well in and want to be in. We listen closely to our clients and generate sensitive design solutions that now only function, but are genuinely interesting spaces. We are a modernist-based firm with an analytical approach to program and function. Discovery through discussions and workshops at the beginning of the project allows us to gain a better understanding of what the building really wants to be. From this point, we can allow our creativity to balance aesthetics with form and function.
With both interior design and architectural staff, we consciously select our internal project teams to include both disciplines in order to cross-pollinate our staff and develop a more cohesive design direction for our clients’ project. Through a balanced mix of architectural and interior design staff working cohesively on each project, our clients and user groups understand that their needs and goals are being heard in all aspects of the design process through to completion.
