Meet Saeedeh, our new Junior Architectural Graduate!

We are excited to welcome Saeedeh to our growing team at Proscenium! She joins us with a Masters of Urban Design from UBC and has hit the ground running in a busy spring season at the firm.

Where were you born?

I was born in Tehran, Capital of Iran

How did you get into architecture? 

When I was 15 I visited an art school. I met graphic designers, photographers, and architectural students and their architectural activities were so interesting to me, so a year later I registered there and became an architectural student.

What class in school has proven to be the least useful?

Most of the classes have been useful, but I don’t know why now I have no idea about Math or chemistry.

What is the best building of all time?

There is a lot, but I am going to choose one of the Tadao Ando works, maybe invisible house or church of light

Best brunch spot in Vancouver is…

I usually have my breakfast at 6 or 7 am, so I don’t know about brunch spots.

What single piece of technology makes your life easier?

I guess my phone (Internet phone call/ video call applications), because whenever I miss my parents, I can call them and see them.

What is your spirit animal?

I don’t know, But I always wanted to be a giraffe.

What word do you have trouble saying?

A lot of words, but every time I wanna say probably, I stop and say another thing.
