Kori has over 20 years of experience managing the design and development of a wide range of arts and cultural projects in western Canada. Educated at the University of Idaho, Kori has worked for a number of prestigious architectural firms before becoming principal at Proscenium. Kori has honed a unique and practical understanding of the operation and day-to-day functioning of both professional and academic arts and cultural facilities, including specific technical requirements for a wide range of uses.
The depth of his experience working with various arts and community groups has led to the design of award winning buildings that successfully integrate with the greater community, such as Simon Fraser University’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts and the Langara Creative Arts Building. His public and institutional projects have a strong emphasis on the integration of interior design and the work of specialty consultant to create award-winning creative learning environment.
Over the last 5 years, Kori has also headed our automotive dealership and showroom projects, working with established design guidelines while successfully delivering projects that meet local regulatory requirements. He has worked with existing club buildings carrying out renovations and tenant improvements, and he has converted warehouses into offices for budget conscious climbing companies.
